Hostal Kiki is located in the small fishing village El Caletón. Kiki worked here as a fisherman here most of his life.
The village is a quiet place. Tourist infrastructure and mass tourism do not exist here. You'll be among the Cubans!
Around the village you can enjoy a day at the beach and take a dip in the warm, clear waters - for example – in Playa Larga. In El Caletón, home of Hostal Kiki, you can also enjoy the excellent beaches. Mind, however, there are days that the water has a deep red color due to nearby rivers discharging reddish water from the Zapata Swamp, full of organic components in decomposition.
The village has a small hospital and services such as a bank and a phone shop. Don’t expect to find much more.
In the nearby area there are several places for you to visit such as Ciénago Zapata, Playa Girón, Boca de Guanmá and Cueva de los Peces.
To move around, you'll need a rental car. Or we can offer taxi services and we will make sure you´ll get to know the area and its history.
